Bloomfield Soap Box Derby

I had another great time helping at the Bloomfield Soap Box Derby today! It was another fantastic year setting the racers up at the starting line and watching the excitement build before each run. It's always a pleasure to be part of such a fun community event.

Impact Tour

Last Tuesday, I was fortunate to be invited to the Impact Tour hosted by United Way Hastings Prince Edward at The Vic in Picton.

It was an insightful experience that highlighted how United Way invests in local agencies to address the unique needs of our community. We had the opportunity to hear from Alternatives for Women, Reaching for Rainbows, Prince Edward Learning Centre, and The ROC about the incredible work they do and the positive impact they're making in the lives of local residents.

Thank you to United Way Hastings Prince Edward for the invitation and for bringing community partners together to showcase the difference collaboration can make. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the important services available in our area.

Seniors Month

I had the privilege of celebrating Seniors Month with the owner of MLP Residence, Anik Jivanjee, along with the dedicated staff, wonderful residents, and their families.

It was a pleasure to spend time with such a warm and welcoming community, recognizing the invaluable contributions, wisdom, and life experiences of our seniors. Thank you to everyone at MLP Residence for the warm hospitality and for making this celebration so memorable. Happy Seniors Month!

Helping out in the fields and it took me to a farm on Stinson Block. McCrea Danforth's farm is the farm of my childhood home.

It was nice to reminisce on the memories that were made here. And who would have thought that I would be working the same land my dad did 50+ years ago?!
